I’m a Finnish wife and a mom of two and I love to travel. Our family had a dream of escaping the cold Finnish winter and spending a few months a year in Spain. In 2024 our dream came true!

In this blog I’m going to share with you some traveling tips about Spain and Finland as well as other destinations we’ve been to as a family!

I’m an expert finding the best hotel and flight deals and I’ll also be sharing tips about those.

My Story

Ever since I was a kid growing up in Lapland, Finland, I’ve been curious about the world. Lapland is this magical place where tourists come to see the Northern Lights and meet Santa Claus. Yep, you heard that right – I practically grew up with Santa as my neighbor!

I’ve always had this itch to explore new places and try new things. When I was a kid, I used to bring home a big pile of brochures from the travel agencies and asked my parents of which destination we’ll go next!

Nowadays, I’m lucky enough to have a job that lets me work from anywhere in the world. So, whenever I get the chance, I’m off on another adventure with my husband and our two little adventurers. They’re just as crazy about travel as I am, which is a good thing because I don’t think they have much of a choice!

And if we are not on a journey, I’m most likely spending time every week on planning our next trip, finding the best hotel deals and cheap flights! If I should mention what my superpower is, it would be finding top-notch hotels that won’t break the bank!

Another thing that I love is writing, learning new things (such as how to set up and design a website) so I thought combining travelling and writing would be an excellent idea. I can write about the things I’ve learnt in Spain and hopefully help you to get some useful information.

So whether I’m figuring out how to open a bank account in Spain (spoiler alert: it’s not as easy as you’d think) or diving headfirst into the local culture (read: eating all the churros), you can bet I’ll be sharing our family’s adventures every step of the way.
