Lapland is very suitable with young children, although snowmobile tour might be a bit difficult with 1 and 3 year old kids. Husky and reindeer sledge rides are suitable for the kids that age 🙂

The weather in December can vary and it is good to be prepared that it can be very cold, -15-20 or even more.
Ice igloo is very beautiful, but I would prefer a bit bigger place to stay with young children. My favorite place to stay in Rovaniemi is Riverside Luxury Suites (you can find the link here from my blog post). You need a car if you stay there. Another lovely hotel is called Arctic Light Hotel (you can find a link in here as well from my blog post). There’s a private sauna you can book and the hotel is located at the center of Rovaniemi. I would prefer to stay in a bigger apartment with kids (such as Riverside Luxury Suites), because there’s room for the kids to play, there’s a kitchen, private sauna and it’s possible to wash clothes there.

May I know if the weather will be suitable for them in December winter? What will the temperature
be like in winter? Will there be any activities suitable for them? We are keen on snowmobile tours, husky & reindeer sledge rides. Can we bring our young kids for these?
